About Us

Hello!

Worldschool Kids was created to help families see travel as a meaningful part of real-world learning.

As educators we have long believed that children learn deeply through experience. Through conversation. Through nature. Through place. Through culture. Through paying attention.

Today, we are raising our children through a blend of forest school, homeschooling, and worldschooling. We value time outside, community connection, great food, and a family life rooted in presence rather than pressure.

We believe children grow best when they have space to become thoughtful communicators, engaged collaborators, creative and critical thinkers, ethical and globally minded citizens, and resilient individuals. Learning is not only about information. It is also about understanding how we live with, learn from, and care for one another and the world around us.

The natural world has something to teach. Local communities have something to teach. Cultural experiences and everyday family life do too.

At the heart of Worldschool Kids is the belief that there is more than one way to worldschool. For some families, it may mean full-time travel. For others, it may look like intentional trips during school breaks, weekends away, or simply exploring nearby places with fresh eyes.

Worldschooling does not have to mean traveling across the globe. There is so much to learn in your own town, your own region, and your everyday life. What matters most is not how far you go, but how you engage with what you find.

Our goal is to make worldschooling feel more accessible to more families. Not all-or-nothing. Not reserved for a select few. Just a thoughtful, practical way to explore, learn, and live more connected to the world around you.

At Worldschool Kids, we believe some of the best learning is shared as a family.

A grounded, accessible approach for families who want to learn through the world around them
