What We Pack
For Everyday Travel
Away
Away has been a natural fit for the way we travel as a family. Right now we use the Large suitcase, the Trunk, the kids packing cubes, and the kids backpack. Their luggage feels simple, durable, and easy to move with. Away helps travel days feel a little more organized and a little less rushed.

Quince
We are always drawn to pieces that make travel feel lighter, simpler, and a little more pulled together. Quince is one of our favorite places for well-made basics that pack easily, wear well, and work across different kinds of days.

Ekster TravelPack Vacuum Kit
The Ekster TravelPack Vacuum Kit is a helpful packing tool for longer trips, bulky layers, or trying to keep everyone’s things in fewer bags. The vacuum bags compress clothes with a small USB-C rechargeable pump, which makes packing feel a little more organized and less overstuffed. It is especially useful when we are bringing sweaters, extra layers, or anything that takes up more space than it should.

Primally Pure
When we pack, we try to keep things simple and intentional. Primally Pure is one of our favorite sources for personal care products that feel clean, practical, and easy to fold into travel without bringing too much. Our two favorite products are the unscented Sun Lip Balm SPF 15 and the Clarifying Bar. They are both simple to pack and helpful to have during our everyday travel and time outside.

Thrive Market
Thrive Market has been especially helpful for travel snacks, pantry basics, and toiletries. It is one of those resources that makes the days before a trip feel more manageable and helps us stock up on the things we know we will actually want on the road.

MamaOwl
MamaOwl is a favorite for beautiful, natural layers that work especially well for children who spend a lot of time outside. Their wool pieces feel warm, breathable, and thoughtfully made. They curate the kind of clothing that makes outdoor days, travel days, and changing weather a little easier.
For Moving With Kids
woom
All three of our kids have woom bikes, and they have been a natural fit for the way we move through everyday life and travel. Right now we have the woom GO 1, GO 3 Automagic, and EXPLORE 5. They are light, thoughtfully designed, and easy for kids to handle, which makes family rides feel smoother and more enjoyable for everyone.

Thousand
All three of our kids have Thousand helmets, and they have held up beautifully through everyday use and travel. One even held up perfectly through a pretty hard crash from our four-year-old, which gave us a lot of confidence in them. They are comfortable, thoughtfully designed, and easy to bring along for biking and scootering in new places.
Note: Thousand currently offers a Military & First Responders discount for eligible groups, including up 20% off
Thule Sapling
The Thule Sapling has been one of our favorite pieces of baby gear for getting outside with a little one. We use it for all kinds of outdoor exploring. It comes in especially handy for places where a stroller is not the best fit. It feels especially intuitive, with thoughtfully designed details that make it easy to use and adjust as you go. Our baby loves being up high and able to see everything around us, which makes the experience more enjoyable for everyone. We also love the matching sling pack that attaches to it for extra storage and the small essentials we like to keep close.
Micro Kickboard
Our kids love their Micro Kickboards. They make longer family walks feel much easier. They give children a little independence and movement while still keeping everyone together during everyday exploring.
Note: Micro Kickboard currently offers a Heroes Discount for eligible groups, including 15% off one scooter or kickboard order plus free shipping.
For Rest + Outdoor Comfort
EXPED USA
Some trips ask for a little more comfort by the end of the day. We especially love EXPED’s wool pillows and sleeping bags, which make outdoor travel feel warmer, softer, and more settled. It is the kind of gear that brings a little more ease to camping and life on the road.
For Learning on the Go
eeBoo
We love bringing a few beautiful, low-clutter activities when we travel. EeBoo is a favorite for that. Their puzzles, games, and learning activities feel engaging. They work especially well if we need a slow afternoon reset.
Yoto Play
The Yoto Player has been one of our favorite travel companions. Our kids regularly listen to Yoto Daily. They love choosing their own cards. We love that it gives them independence without screens. There is a wide range of content to grow with. A few favorites are the Countries Flag Card and the Roald Dahl Collection. We use it during travel days, quiet time, and the slower moments in between.
GiiKER Super Slide
The GiiKER Super Slide is a compact puzzle game that is easy to tuck into a bag and bring out during car rides and flights. It is thoughtful, portable, and especially well suited to travel with kids. We also recommend getting a case to keep all the pieces together and make it even easier to bring along.
Before We Go
Rover
Travel often begins with the details at home. Rover has been a helpful resource when we need trusted pet care, and having that support in place makes it easier to leave well and settle into a trip with more peace of mind.
